XML Committee
W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) has standardized XML (Extensible Markup Language) based on SGML (Standard Generalized Markup Language). XML is expected to attract a broad range of users as a means to link data among heterogeneous systems. This committee is researching XML-related technological trends including, among others, development of digital signature software of XML documents, verification experiments of interoperability, and technologies related to next-generation web computing.
